請用過ANDREAS BAUER海泡石煙斗的朋友談下體會

小弟還是很相信品牌魅力的，還說這個Bauer，德國大鬍子的高檔煙斗店只賣這個牌子的海泡石，他應該不是外行吧？可惜他店裡我喜歡的斗型都已經賣掉了，看來我只能另辟蹊徑了。

pipe69兄，我的Bauer存在积水现象，不过并不严重。上面有位斗友说沾手应该是没上蜡的原因，可是我的其它海泡斗用水和牙膏清洗过(有蜡的话应该也洗掉了)都没这种现象。确实是很好用的一把斗。

小弟要求不高，Group 4半彎素面DUBLIN，我用斗不太仔細，還希望有個金屬環加固一下斗柄。國內的Bauer好像很少，不知何故。

加固斗柄容易的，去找个首饰匠，用金用银任意。直接包个环在外面。
你要愿意的话，还可以找刻字的人，在环上刻点啥

The company was founded 1906 in Vienna, Austria by Andreas Bauer who ran the company and production, apprenticing his son during his latter years. Ernst Bauer took over running the company in 1942. The company was sold to the Mrstik family in 1972. They are still one of the premier producers of Turkish block meerschaum pipes.


I am not aware of any Meerschaum pipes made today where both the carving and smoking engineering are acceptable. IMHO  Poor plastic tenon fittings / restricted airways / poor stem material / draft bores off center and so on.

前些天一把新的 ANDREAS BAUER 做的CALABASH斗，66欧成交，我没有飙到，可惜呀， 后来就搞了把2手的BIG BEN 的CALABASH， 品相也不错。

俺是见过很专业的讨论海泡石烟斗的文章对Andreas Bauer的品质很是推崇。

不过关于这个牌子有些地方不明了，请教前辈们几个问题：

1、一般的说法，上个世纪中叶土耳其就禁止海泡石矿出口，出口只能是成品，为啥大胡子网站上的ANDREAS BAUER 还是标明Made in Austria。

2、在pipedia上关于这个牌子就这么一句话“Andreas Bauer of Vienna was probably the most famous brand manufacturing Meerschaum pipes - the best of the best. But prior to 1990 Bauer merged with Koncak Meerschaum of Eskisehir / Turkey. ”
而楼上jcats兄的说法是1972年就被收购。
两种说法哪种正确，另外收购后是在土耳其生产（若是，啥时转过去的）还是在奥地利生产吗？

不过俺不大理解的是1972年被收购和90年代被并购两种说法为啥都对。
