确实有这样的感觉,不过我感觉他的斗接下来的进步肯定会越发明显，英国那家烟草网店找到他的时候，進一反复问：”您觉得我的斗值得您上架吗？“，而我收到斗后，他则一再询问我使用感受如何，看得出来是个十分谦虚 ...

”少年老成“ 的，后面有可能智商才情不够用而显颓势；”幼态持续“ 的，后面有可能能量充沛深不见底每每出惊喜，故仍需观察，要有当下意识、节点精神，“见好就收 (pun)“.

"当下意识、节点精神，见好就收",对极了！ 顺便说一句，Ray的斗确实不便宜，而且斗型也趋于丹麦风，而且他貌似只和固定网店合作，常客他不太愿意接

证明这些日本人很聪明，知道成名初期要进 “体制”，不像国内制作者都喜欢接私活看眼前、直接做到 Lars Ivarsson 份上了。十年后，价钱差别可能是一支抵十支。

RAY 年轻，又有国外生活经验，思想和一些七七八八的东西都比较跟得上时代和大环境。做斗也有一段时间了，知名度起来了。

進一相比之下就比较保守一点了，英语也烂，我和他交流常常把中文翻译成日文，方便他看。做斗时间短，知道的人很少。他好像接私活，也许是因为我和他关系还成的缘故，但他还是希望我通过英国那家网店购买产品。

斗非常不错，其实日本人做东西，就该这样，有不少“和”味道，ray有点偏西化了。

除了做工匠外，毕竟日本现代经济和文化跟海外交流的积极态度和历史在亚洲是第一的，比较了解什么是rule，和世界人民的融合度高不少。

另外，看看日本时装发展，以及听听尺八CD，更加会明白为什么日本烟斗可以做的有滋有味。

等待中国烟斗崛起！！！！

Interesting pipe maker and good article to read about.

But why a Japanese pipe when you are in England?.  

I assume you are studying there and will be back home in next few years.  

Since you are there, you might as well take the opportunity to purchase a fine pipe hand made in England.  

There are many places  to  buy a good pipe,   many fine pipe makers,  pipe shops,  antique stores or flea markets all offering the best of English pipes.

There are still several  very old tobacco factories you can visit before they are all sold to largest companies from Germany.

Wouldn't it be more interesting to read about your pipe tobacco exploration in England,  finding and hunting  for very rare British clay pipe ?

There are many reasons and stories about this purchase.

First of all, I do have a great passion about  classic English style Pipes, I'v got a Peterson, a Butz Choquin and A nice handmade Ferndown(have a look at my previous post at http://bbs.pipevillage.org/thread-26035-1-1.html). I also reserve a customized English pipe from a Famous Canadian independent pipe maker, it will take him about 2 months to release the final product. And I have kept in touch with a few pipe makers in England, once they have post some new works, I can just buy from them if I want.

and for K's pipes, not like other Japanese brands which are mostly inherited from Danmark, they show a very remarkable mixture of Asian Culture and English styles. And the maker of K's, Mr. 進一桑原 only have formal cooperation with a British local tobacconist. Otherwise, I can only buy K's pipes in UK recently.

So as what you can see here, All my personal preference  is about English style pipes,  I do not waste my opportunities in UK.

plus, I tried to post some of my experience about rare English tobaccos, but I am just a newbie, too "young" to give a proper commends about tobaccos.

But I will be more than happy to share my passion and stories with you guys in the future, Please have a eye on my post list.
