Vulcanite stem repair

Hi everyone: I'm new to Beijing and looking for places in town that can do pipe repairs.  I left my 12-year-old Peterson billiard with an oxidized stem with a local shop that said they'd have it done in a week...and that was 5 weeks ago.  I'd really like to put that pipe back into my rotation, and am looking for any other pipe repair shops around here.

Hello, I think you can contact one of the verified pipe makers around Beijing following the list beneath. Should take only a couple minutes getting an oxidized ebonite stem buffed like new.

For oxidized stem, nothing a little elbow grease and some toothpaste can't fix.

If you need to replace a broken stem,  it may be more convenient for you to purchase a new stem from these online shop.  

Most of the peterson pipe mouthpieces are of standard size.

Thanks guys!  The issue with the pipe isn't just that it has oxidized--the stem also produces a bad smell in the area where tooth marks have bored into the vulcanite.  So the bit needs to be resurfaced.  Definitely not a job for an amateur like me!
