Kaywoodie Pipes
In 1919 the Kaufman Brothers & Bondy Company or KBB started Kaywoodie pipes, as it was known. The Kaywoodie name comes from the K in Kaufman and Wood from the briar thus Kaywoodie. Legend has it that one of the guys at the New York office of the KBB Company got gold fever and grabbed a bunch of pipes when he was on his way to California and sold them along the way to get there. This first introduced the pipes cross-country. This was the first national distribution of the pipes and soon after the company organized branch offices all across the United States. Kaywoodie introduced their Drinkless system in 1924 and from 1924 to 1931 the Kaywoodie pipe had a push stem type bit and then in 1931 they introduced the Synchro-stem which had the screw in style aluminum tenon. In 1943 Kaywoodie was able to get a hold of 1,000,000 blocks of briar from North Africa, so the wood in the pipes was superb. Today Kaywoodie is finding a new face and making some dramatic old style pipes with the all briar bowls and using the old school push style bits. Their Anniversary edition pipes are as good as any you will find anywhere.
使用情况：
1、下午3时第一斗，填草前用通条试探，一通到底，烟草种类GLP abingoon，开罐即填草，无醒草过程，F填斗法。使用情况：无积水，无油漆味，无烟气过热；尾端有酸味，途中有补火，烟草留少许未燃尽，斗较热。
2、下午5：30第二斗，填斗前以通条简单清理烟道，烟草种类（烟草储藏与密封罐中）与填草方法同上。使用情况：基本同上；区别：酸味减弱，尾端有极少量积水，若隐若现有油漆味。
3、晚上8：00第三斗，斗与烟草情况同2。使用情况：同2，只是无酸味，积水情况略有增加。
4、第二日凌晨0：15第四斗，斗与烟草情况同3。使用情况：同3，区别：无积水。
结论：经济实惠的的烟斗。 便宜也有好货！ 没有了酸味和其它杂味，能品尝烟草的乐趣，大小形状自己握着舒服喜欢，就是好斗。 今天看中了这牌子的一款斗，外型我自己很喜欢，不过就是担心质量不好，没买，跟楼主这有点像 我无法接受烟斗抽起来有油漆味，其实即使是木头味道我都无法接受。 在短短不到12小时内抽了4斗，还能有这样的吸烟品质
质疑中:L 新斗就是好用啊。。。
我每次都是新的用起来最爽。 一天抽这么多斗也行啊？我那SER JACOPO，也是新斗，有预碳层，傍晚抽过一斗（感觉挺好），到半夜狠狠心再来一斗，可抽烟质量不行了。:L 了，。可能是因为我的技术不行吧。 各人对抽烟质量的要求（或者说追求）不同。 晕。。。一天内怎么用同一把斗抽这样多呢？？？这样不会损坏烟斗吗？
或者故意来探测它的使用寿命？？？
