There really are no freehand pipes that come close to those made by Preben Holm. If the majority of the pipes made in the 1970s could be compared to Benni Goodman, Preben was Elvis shaking his pelvis. People have since reigned in wild, freehand shaping, but the extreme was decided decades ago. Where else can you find a pipe this large with such rich grain, vulcanite mount, and vibrant acrylic stem with such charm? Somewhere, perhaps, but will it look as unique as this while still looking stylish?
